1) - The Central Government will remove the Amar Jawan Jyoti from India Gate and put a statue of Subhas Chandra Bose there. The Prime Minister had said that till the time the granite statue of Netaji was not ready, his hologram statue would be installed at that place. According to the report, the granite statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to be installed at India Gate will be 28 feet high and 6 feet wide. It will be installed at India Gate at the same place where the statue of British King George V once stood.

2) - Former England batsman Vikram Solanki has stepped down as the head coach of the county team with immediate effect. It is being told that Vikram Solanki can join the new franchise Ahmedabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Solanki first joined Surrey as a player in 2013 and scored 2,400 runs across all formats. In the year 2016, he played an important role as a coach in making Ryan Patel, Ollie Pope and Amar Virdi the best players.

3)- Netaji Research Bureau has honored former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe with Netaji Award 2022. Japan's Consul General in Kolkata Nakamura Yutaka received the honor on Abe's behalf. On the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, this honor was given in a program organized at his residence on Elgin Road.

4) - The central government has recently approved the establishment of a plastic park at Ganjimat, Mangaluru, Karnataka. This park will be built for Rs 62.77 crore. It is to be built in the land of Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB). This park will generate hundreds of jobs for the local youth. A poly propylene unit will be installed in this park. This unit will provide raw material to the polymer and plastic units inside the park.

5) - Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan was named the Men's T20 Cricketer of the Year by the ICC for his impressive performance in 2021. She was up against Tammy Beaumont of England, Lizelle Lee of South Africa and Gabby Lewis of Ireland. However, Smriti Mandhana left all this behind and won the award. Mandhana has won this award for the second time. She has also been the best women's cricketer and best women's ODI cricketer in 2018. Mandhana is the first Indian female player to win this award twice.

9) Ratan Tata, Honorary Chairman of Tata Sons, will be given Assam's highest civilian award for his contribution to cancer care. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced the 'Assam Vaibhav' award to Ratan Tata. The Chief Minister said that the people of Assam are deeply grateful to the entrepreneur for his extraordinary contribution in the field of cancer care in the state. At the initiative of Ratan Tata, Tata Trusts in collaboration with the Government of Assam decided to set up 19 cancer care units in 2018.

10) - The Jammu and Kashmir administration has declared Jerry village in Reasi district as the first 'Milk Village' of the Union Territory. The administration has also approved 57 additional dairy farms for jerry under the Integrated Milk Development Scheme (IDDS). According to the report, there are a total of 73 dairy farms in Jerry, out of which 370 are cows. With the status of 'Milk Village', the local dairy operators will get financial security.

11) - Recently, researchers from Kerala have identified two new species of fungi belonging to Xenoderma. They are related to coconut stem rot disease. There are two species of fungi – Ganoderma kerlens and Ganoderma pseudoepiplanetum. Infection begins at the roots but symptoms include discoloration and rotting of stems and leaves.

12)- Recently India has become the largest exporter of cucumber in the world. India exported 1,23,846 MT of cucumber and cucumber with a value of US$ 114 million during April-October (2020-21). The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has taken several initiatives to develop infrastructure and enhance the quality of processed cucumbers, promote the product in the international market and implement food safety management systems in processing units.
