1) - The Philippines has entered into a contract with the Indian BrahMos Aerospace Pvt Ltd. According to this, the Philippines has accepted an offer of about 375 million (Rs 2 thousand 780 crore) from the Indian BrahMos Aerospace Pvt Ltd. Under this, India will supply shore-based anti-ship missile systems to the Philippines Navy. The National Defense Department of the Philippines has given this information while expressing confidence in the BrahMos missile jointly made by India-Russia.
2) - The navies of India and Russia have conducted a 'passing exercise' in the Arabian Sea. During this, the indigenously built Guided Missile Destroyer INS Kochi, which made the Navy even more powerful than before, was also tested. According to the ministry, the Indian Navy conducted the INS Kochi exercise with the Russian Navy in the Arabian Sea. This is the first time that the Indian Navy has test-fired an indigenously built warship.
